Thank you for taking the time to look me up. Here is is little bit about me...
Over the last eighteen years as professional designer I have held positions at a variety of different firms, from small design shops to my current position as creative director at Xerox Canada. In my present role I work directly with many groups within Ford Canada to provide design work for print collateral, direct mailers, digital and web projects, as well as promotional physical installations that are brand appropriate.
In addition, I offer brand expertise to third party vendors and advertising agencies to ensure the Ford Canada brand standard is respected and adhered to. I am also responsible for managing both on-site and off-site Xerox teams, as well as relationships with Ford Canada’s design agencies and Xerox suppliers, printers and manufacturers.
During the last five years at Xerox Canada I have managed a variety of projects some upwards of half a million dollars. I am responsible for all stages of my projects, including conceptual design and development, cost estimation and proposal, time-lines, budget management, liaison with stakeholders and subcontractors, and final production. My Master’s degree in sustainable design practices has taught me to think creatively with materials and costs to provide my customers and their in-house teams with environmentally sound designs while never settling for anything less than exceeding the client’s expectations.
Since joining Xerox Canada, I have received four national awards for creative excellence and customer delivery based on my ability to work with the client teams and agencies. Last year I was honoured to be recognized as one of Xerox Canada’s top four design talents out of a team of 100+ designers. Finally, I am in the process of leading the development and reintroduction of the design services community within Xerox Canada.
